Generate a UTF-8 XML sitemap from a URL list you already have. Paste up to 5,000 absolute HTTP or HTTPS URLs from one website origin, optionally add an accurate last-modified date, and download the resulting sitemap file.
How to Use XML Sitemap Generator
- Prepare a list of preferred absolute URLs from one website origin.
- Paste one URL per line, using no more than 5,000 entries.
- Enter a last-modified date only if it is accurate for all listed pages.
- Generate, download, validate, and publish the sitemap at your chosen location.
Create a sitemap from reviewed URLs
This generator formats your list; it does not crawl your website or discover pages automatically. Use preferred URLs that you intend to make available for indexing. Remove redirect destinations you no longer want to list, fragments, and unnecessary tracking variants before generating the file.
Example: a small site launch
Prepare a list of the homepage, service pages, contact page, and published guides. The tool deduplicates normalized URLs and requires one origin, so HTTP/HTTPS or apex/www variants should be reviewed before submission. If you supply a last-modified date, it is applied to every generated entry; leave it empty when a single date would misrepresent the pages.
Validate and publish the result
Download the XML, check it with the XML Sitemap Validator, and publish it at the intended location. The tool limit is 5,000 URLs per run, lower than the sitemap protocol maximum of 50,000 URLs and 50 MB per file.
Use the Bulk URL Cleaner when preparing a tracking-heavy list. After publishing, confirm discovery with the Robots.txt and Sitemap Finder. A sitemap is a discovery aid, not a promise of indexing.
