Clean a URL list before using it in a report, internal-link review, or publishing workflow. The Bulk URL Cleaner removes common tracking parameters, optionally removes fragments, and returns unique cleaned URLs while preserving other query values.
How to Use Bulk URL Cleaner
- Paste one absolute HTTP or HTTPS URL per line.
- Choose whether to remove fragments as well as tracking parameters.
- Generate and review the cleaned, deduplicated list.
- Copy or download the results and confirm representative destinations before use.
Separate tracking from content parameters
The cleaner removes UTM-prefixed parameters and selected click or campaign identifiers such as gclid, fbclid, and msclkid. Other parameters are retained because they may control page content. It does not fetch the pages or establish which version a search engine considers canonical.
Example: keep the product identifier
A supplied URL with a product id and a campaign source can be cleaned so the id remains while the campaign parameter is removed. If several campaign variants normalize to the same cleaned address, the output contains one copy. Review a sample before using the result in a large publishing workflow.
Decide whether fragments should remain
A fragment can be a useful link to a section, so removal is optional. Some applications also use URL fragments as part of their routing. Confirm how the target website works before removing them. URL parsing can normalize formatting, but that does not prove two different addresses serve equivalent content.
Use the URL Structure Checker for further review prompts. If you need a preferred page reference, use the Canonical Tag Generator after choosing the correct URL.
