Turn page titles into readable URL slugs without editing them one by one. Enter one or more titles, choose a hyphen or underscore separator, and generate lowercase slugs that preserve supported Unicode letters.
How to Use SEO-Friendly Slug Generator
- Enter one page title per line.
- Choose hyphens or underscores as the separator.
- Generate and review the slugs for clarity and duplicates.
- Use them for new pages or plan redirects before replacing existing URLs.
Create consistent slugs for new pages
A slug is the path segment used to identify a page, such as the final part of a blog URL. This generator replaces runs of punctuation or spacing with the selected separator, removes apostrophes, and normalizes text. It is useful when preparing a batch of new article or product URLs.
Example: title to path segment
A title such as Beginner’s Small Garden Guide becomes a compact lowercase slug using your separator choice. The tool does not translate non-English text. Review the result for clarity, unwanted omissions, empty output, and collisions where different titles produce the same slug.
Treat existing URLs carefully
Generating a cleaner slug does not mean an established URL should be changed. If you rename a published page, plan the redirect, update internal links, and review the sitemap and canonical references. The tool does not check whether a slug is already used in your CMS.
Use the URL Structure Checker to review complete addresses and the Redirect Rule Generator when an approved URL change needs a server rule.
