Review a list of complete website URLs for selected formatting concerns. The URL Structure Checker highlights spaces, long addresses, uppercase paths, repeated separators, underscores, query parameters, and fragments without requesting the destinations.
How to Use URL Structure Checker
- Paste one absolute HTTP or HTTPS URL per line.
- Run the check and review the flagged patterns.
- Confirm whether each finding is intentional or needs an implementation change.
- Check important live destinations before editing routes or links.
Inspect URL consistency before publishing links
The result is a review checklist, not a ranking score. A query parameter, uppercase character, or long path can be legitimate. Use the findings to identify inconsistencies and investigate how your website handles them, rather than automatically replacing every flagged address.
Example: distinguish tracking from page content
A campaign parameter may be removable from a preferred content URL, while a product filter can change what the page displays. Review the purpose of each parameter before cleaning a list or changing canonical references. A fragment may intentionally point to a section on the same page.
Check the destination separately
Formatting checks cannot establish whether a page returns HTTP 200, redirects correctly, or is indexable. The tool reports the URLs as supplied and does not crawl them. For a planned URL change, consider existing links and the final route behavior as well as readability.
Use the Bulk URL Cleaner to remove known tracking parameters while preserving other queries. Use the HTTP Status and Redirect Checker for live response checks.
