Inspect the links in an HTML fragment or page source. This Link Analyzer lists destinations, anchor text, internal or external classification, and rel attributes. Supply a base URL so relative links can be resolved consistently.

How to Use Link Analyzer

  1. Paste the HTML containing your links.
  2. Enter the base URL to resolve relative destinations.
  3. Review anchor text, destination type, and rel attributes.
  4. Check important destination statuses with a live URL checker before publishing.

Review where your page links lead

The analyzer helps you check navigation, article references, and contextual links before publishing. It reads anchor elements with href attributes from pasted source. HTTP links are classified as internal when their origin matches the base URL and external when it differs. Email and other non-HTTP schemes are labeled separately.

Example: resolve a relative link

If the base URL is https://example.com/guides/, a link to plants resolves beneath that directory, while /plants resolves from the website root. Enter the intended base carefully; if the original page uses a base element, provide the relevant base URL yourself.

Read anchor and rel values in context

An empty anchor may represent an image link or an unlabeled control that needs a closer review. Rel attributes such as nofollow, sponsored, or ugc describe link relationships, but this tool does not evaluate whether a particular attribute is appropriate. It also does not verify that a destination loads.

Use the Broken Link Checker for a bounded live status check and the Bulk URL Cleaner to remove tracking parameters from a supplied URL list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this tool check whether links are broken?
No. It analyzes supplied HTML without fetching destinations. The Broken Link Checker performs bounded live checks.
How does it classify internal links?
An HTTP or HTTPS destination is internal when its origin matches the base URL you provided.
Why does a relative link resolve to an unexpected address?
Check the base URL and whether the href begins with a slash. Those details change how relative URLs resolve.
