Inspect the HTML returned by one public website URL. The On-Page SEO Checker reports the HTTP status and final address, title and description, canonical reference, robots signals, headings, image alt findings, and resolved source links.

How to Use On-Page SEO Checker

  1. Enter the exact public HTTP or HTTPS page URL.
  2. Run the check and review the final URL and HTTP status first.
  3. Inspect metadata, robots signals, headings, images, and links in context.
  4. Confirm any proposed fix on the rendered page and repeat the relevant check after publishing.

Start an SEO review from the exact page

Use this tool after publishing a page, changing metadata, or investigating a reported URL issue. It fetches a bounded response from our server and parses the source HTML. The response limit is 2 MB. It does not use a browser to execute scripts or determine what Google has indexed.

Interpret each finding separately

A missing title or description is a concrete source finding. A canonical should be reviewed against the intended preferred URL. Robots meta and X-Robots-Tag values should be interpreted with the page context. Empty image alt values can be appropriate for decorative images, and multiple H1 elements require a document review rather than an automatic ranking judgment.

Example: confirm a published metadata edit

Enter the final page URL after saving a new title in your CMS. Compare the returned title with the intended wording, then check whether the address redirects before reaching the page. If the visible browser page differs from the source result, investigate rendering, caching, or request-specific behavior.

Use the HTTP Status and Redirect Checker for the chain itself and the Broken Link Checker for bounded destination checks. For several same-origin pages, use the Website Crawl Report.
